Proposed Georgia CBD Law Seeks to Cap Delta-9 THC

A new law introduced in Georgia will help rein in the state’s burgeoning legal hemp industry. The law, which goes into effect on Oct. 1, 2024, may change the way consumers consume CBD drinks and edibles such as gummies. While medical cannabis is heavily regulated in the state, legal variations of marijuana including delta-9 THC products have become very popular.
