As cannabis has moved further into the mainstream, the stigma surrounding the plant and those who consume it has been eroding.
That’s not to say there’s no longer any stigma at all, because there definitely still is, but it’s becoming less so with each passing day thankfully.
A prime example of how far cannabis has come in recent years is the adoption of National Cannabis Awareness Month.
Certain months of the year are associated with various awareness causes now. For instance, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
April has been officially declared as National Cannabis Awareness Month, which makes sense given the history of April 20th as a cannabis consumer holiday.
During the month of April, cannabis advocates across the country not only celebrate how far the cannabis movement has come but also spread awareness about the cannabis plant.
The cannabis movement has more momentum than ever before in the United States, but there’s still a lot of work to be done.
Observing or celebrating National Cannabis Awareness Month can come in many forms, with the main goal being to spread awareness about cannabis:
One thing that is very much encouraged during National Cannabis Awareness month is using the hashtag #CannabisAwarenessMonth on social media to help spread awareness.
The goal of National Cannabis Awareness month is to spread education and knowledge about the cannabis plant.
To do that, people have to first become knowledgeable about the cannabis plant themselves. And let’s face it, most people have a lot of big knowledge gaps about this herb. How it works, how it doesn’t work, how to get the most benefits, and what to avoid.
One of the easiest ways to bolster your own knowledge and/or spread cannabis knowledge around for others to benefit is simply by sharing your favorite Green Flower videos with friends and followers.
